Is the OHAir device F.D.A approved?
Yes, the OHAir device is F.D.A. approved. As well, as numerous third-party studies have been completed to validate the efficacy of the device. This material is readily available, we would be happy to send it to you.
How effective is the OHAir device for airborne COVID?
It reduces airborne COVID and other pathogens (colds and flus) to a 99% reduction rate after 20 minutes and undetectable in the air after 80 minutes.
How effective is the OHAir device for hard and soft surfaces?
It reduces COVID and other pathogens to a 99% reduction after 1 hour and undetectable after 3 hours.
What are hard surfaces?
Tables, plastic chairs, toys, desks, coat hooks, doorknobs etc.
What are soft surfaces?
Stuffed animals, carpets, clothing, bedding, couches etc.
What is the size of the device?
The machine is about the same size as a large women’s purse. It weighs 9 pounds.
Is disinfectant required?
No.
How long do you run it?
Only while people are present.
How do I run the device and is it noisy?
Simply, plug the device in and press the button. The device sounds like a low-running fan.
Do I still need to Fog?
You would no longer be required to fog in the space where the OHAir Device is present.
How is the OHAir device different than Fogging?
While fogging disinfects hard surfaces, fogging does not disinfect soft surfaces nor is fogging able to kill COVID-19 and other pathogens in the air.
Fogging requires disinfectant. The OHAir device does not require any disinfectant.
Fogging requires a person to fog, while the OHAir device requires a push of the button - Set and forget it.
Fogging disinfectant for only as long as the surface has not been touched, where the OHAir is constantly disinfecting.
How is the OHAir device different than HEPA Filters?
HEPA Filters only disinfect the air that runs through the filter. The OHAir device disinfects ALL the air within the space. HEPA Filters only trap pathogens, while the OHAir device kills pathogens. Lastly, HEPA Filters only trap particles of a certain size, pathogens that are too small can escape and become airborne again. This is not the case with the OHAir device because the O.H. device kills ALL pathogens regardless of size.
Where are OHAir devices being used?
Medical facilities, schools, homes, daycares, extended living communities etc.
Are there any negative side-effects?
No. In fact there are some reports suggesting that people who are ill, recover quicker when an OHAir device is present.
